IQVIA Careers- Role:
The Medical Surveillance Specialist will support global clinical research operations by monitoring medical data, preparing clinical narratives, and coordinating with investigator sites to uphold the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor clinical laboratory data from ongoing clinical studies for completeness and consistency.
- Prepare and document medical narratives in compliance with study and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with investigator sites and internal stakeholders to address data queries.
- Interpret and integrate scientific information from multiple data sources.
- Maintain adherence to IQVIA SOPs, clinical research protocols, and GCP guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or Dentistry).
- Experience: 2–6 years overall; minimum 2.5 years in medical surveillance (mandatory).
- Strong analytical and technical ability to evaluate medical data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and MS Office.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional global teams.
