About the Role
The Resident Medical Officer will play a critical role in ensuring clinical continuity, patient safety, and protocol adherence across OPD and IPD oncology services. The role involves close coordination with consultants and allied departments to deliver seamless cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support consultants in medical, radiation, and surgical oncology.
- Manage day-to-day inpatient care, ward rounds, and documentation
- Coordinate chemotherapy administration, admissions, and discharges
- Ensure adherence to oncology protocols, safety, and quality standards
- Act as the first point of clinical escalation for oncology patients
- Liaise with nursing, pharmacy, and diagnostic teams
