Essential Eligibility
- A medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Registration with the Central/State Medical Council
- MD (Pathology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI/NMC
Age Limit
- Maximum 45 years
Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
- Additional relaxation for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years) as applicable
Not Eligible
- Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency

About the Role
The senior resident will be involved in diagnostic cytology and gynecological pathology services, academic activities, and departmental responsibilities under the guidance of senior faculty. This role provides hands-on exposure in a high-volume tertiary care and academic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic work in cytology and gynecological pathology
- Participate in reporting, academic discussions, and departmental meetings
- Assist in teaching and training activities as assigned
- Support the clinical and research work of the department
- Maintain laboratory and diagnostic standards as per PGIMER protocols
