Fortis Careers Qualification:
- MD/MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology from a recognized institution (mandatory)

Role:
The senior resident in gynecology will play a vital role in supporting consultants across OPD, IPD, labor room management, and emergency obstetric care. This position is designed for qualified doctors seeking strong clinical exposure, hands-on surgical experience, and continuous learning within a premier healthcare setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care under the supervision of consultant gynecologists.
- Assist in managing Labor Room operations, including normal deliveries and emergency obstetric cases
- Support gynecological procedures and surgeries as assigned
- Attend and manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies promptly
- Conduct patient assessments, perform clinical examinations, and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Participate in patient rounds, case reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Ensure adherence to pre-operative and post-operative care protocols
- Maintain patient safety, infection control standards, and clinical hygiene
- Coordinate effectively with nursing teams and allied departments
- Participate in CMEs, academic discussions, and departmental training programs
- Follow all hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines
