Job Description
Kokilaben Hospital is hiring for the position of Fellow (Cardiac Anaesthesia) at the Children’s Heart Centre. Key Responsibilities
- A professional approach must be adopted with all patients, staff, and visitors
- To provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other specialties to serve the institute
- Follow all clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols
- Required to be available to see patients when requested
- Participate in classroom and bedside teaching programs for postgraduate students and RMOs
- Identify complex health problems and report immediately to the concerned doctor
- Supervise postgraduate students under consultant guidance
- Supervise daily clinical management of patients with PG students and nursing teams
- Prescribe pain management medicines if required
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Write treatment orders in capital letters and ensure proper documentation
- Assist consultants during rounds and conduct independent rounds when required
- Prepare discharge summaries
- Follow on-call and duty rota based on departmental requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational protocols
