Job Description:

Boston Children’s Hospital is hiring a motivated Clinical Research Assistant to support Dr. Scott Snapper’s Lab in the IBD Center. This research assistant job offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, pre-professional research setting. The work focuses on understanding genetic and environmental factors involved in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, combining gastroenterology, mucosal immunology, genomics/bioinformatics, and translational medicine, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates pursuing advanced clinical jobs.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is required

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills using basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating multiple clinical and translational research studies

  • Assisting with the analysis of clinical metadata using various databases
  • Performing innovative translational and clinical research studies
  • Participating in human sequence data analysis and translational research techniques, based on interest and need
