Qualifications
- Must possess a Medical Board license, MD/DO (State specific) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Adult Gerontology, or Infectious Disease
- Valid DEA and Furnishing license for this MD Job or DO Job
- Prior experience treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS patients in an outpatient Primary Care medicine job
- Comfortable seeing up to 15–18 patients per day
- Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
- Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) required
Job Description
This medicine job is part of a public health, mission-based organization with a strong network of healthcare centers, pharmacies, and wellness clinics. AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a family practice or internal medicine physician for an HIV primary care outpatient facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care services in an HIV-focused medicine job
- Diagnose and treat patients living with HIV/AIDS
- See up to 15–18 patients per day in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a full support team, includingthe Practice Manager, MA, and RNs
- Participate in a shared call schedule
- Deliver patient-centered care aligned with AIDS Healthcare Foundation values
