Job Description:
The newly appointed Consultant Colorectal Surgeon will be responsible for providing expertise to further develop Colorectal Surgery at TMC. Experience with minimal access surgical techniques will be preferable. This surgeon job involves clinical practice, surgical procedures, and academic participation within a multidisciplinary oncology team. Department Overview:
The GI HPB Oncosurgery unit takes pride in offering the entire range of GI Surgical Oncology treatment. In order to offer specialized surgical care, the unit is functionally divided into three sub-specialties:
- Upper gastrointestinal and peritoneal surface oncology
- Hepato-pancreatico-biliary surgery
- Colorectal surgery
Qualifications:
- MCh/DrNB in GI Surgery with additional training in Colorectal Oncosurgery.
Desirable, to have training in MIS and Robotic Surgery. OR - MCh/DrNB in Surgical oncology with GI specific work experience (colorectal).
Desirable to have training in MIS and Robotic Surgery. - Experience: Minimum 1–2 years post MCh.
