Qualifications & Experience
- Doctorate (MD / DO) with a Georgia medical license and DEA certification
- ABMS Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible with the intention to become board certified within one year of onboarding
- Competent with common PC applications, including Internet, Email, Microsoft Office, and EMR applications
Physician Job Description
This physician job involves delivering healthcare services to patients in a clinical setting while ensuring patients are treated with high standards of care. Employees in this role ensure a high-quality and consistent approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments for patients aged 2 and up as the sole provider
- Manage an average of 35 patients per 12-hour day, approximately three patients per hour
- Perform minor office procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting
- Conduct physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual exams
- Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries
