Job Description:

This Histopathology Job is for the position of Senior Research Investigator within the Pathology and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) department at Syngene in Bangalore. The role focuses on overseeing pathology technology platforms, clinical biomarker assay development, validation activities, and sample analysis.

Candidates pursuing an MBBS Job in India with strong interests in pathology research, oncology, and translational medicine will gain opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary scientific teams and international healthcare organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pathology support to research programs and projects.
  • Collaborate closely with pathology teams and scientific stakeholders.
  • Develop, qualify, and validate IHC and ISH assays.
  • Perform sample analysis for translational research initiatives.
  • Support clinical biomarker development activities.
  • Participate in hospital-based collaborative research programs.
  • Learn and contribute to digital pathology workflows.
  • Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support inventory management and quality review activities.
  • Generate accurate and reproducible scientific data from experiments.

Educational Requirements:

  • MBBS from a recognised institution.
  • MD in Pathology, or/
  • DNB in Pathology.

Skills Required for this Histopathology Job:

  • Hands-on experience in histopathology and immunohistochemistry.
