Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute medical affairs strategies for the assigned oncology portfolio.
- Create and implement robust medical plans aligned with business and scientific objectives.
- Generate and support evidence generation initiatives for oncology products.
- Provide scientific support and guidance to the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team.
- Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate the introduction of pipeline products and support access to marketed oncology therapies in this Hybrid Medical Advisor Job in Bengaluru.
- Deliver scientific presentations, medical education programs, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Participate in scientific congresses, advisory boards, round-table meetings, and medical forums at AbbVie Careers.
- Review and summarize emerging scientific literature and conference updates for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Therapeutic Area Lead and Medical Affairs leadership to develop and execute medical strategies.
- Provide scientific updates and evidence to support marketing and commercial teams.
- Train sales teams and cross-functional departments on scientific and medical aspects of oncology products.
- Oversee Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and support global clinical research initiatives.
- Review and approve promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.
- Provide medical input into marketing strategies and commercial initiatives.
- Monitor competitive intelligence, emerging clinical evidence, and therapeutic trends.
- Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Market Access, Medical Information, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry guidelines, and AbbVie policies.
Educational Requirements for the Hybrid Medical Advisor Job:
- MBBS with MD in Pharmacology and 4–5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in Oncology.
- BDS/MDS with 7–8 years of experience in medical strategic roles, preferably in Oncology.
- Knowledge of drug development and clinical research is desirable.

- Strong expertise in Oncology Medical Affairs.
- Excellent scientific communication and medical writing skills.
