Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the medical and scientific review of promotional and non-promotional materials.
- Ensure scientific accuracy, clinical relevance, and balanced communication across healthcare professional and patient-facing materials.
- Evaluate clinical evidence, promotional claims, and supporting data for compliance with approved labeling and regulatory standards.
- Provide strategic scientific guidance to Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams in this Hybrid Medical Reviewer Job.
- Participate in Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR/PRC) review meetings.
- Identify complex scientific and compliance issues requiring escalation in the Hybrid Medical Reviewer Job in India
- Review promotional materials across multiple communication channels and formats.
- Utilize platforms such as Vault PromoMats, MedComms solutions, and content management systems at AstraZeneca Careers.
- Support the development of scientific narratives, presentations, launch materials, and medical communications.
- Improve review processes while maintaining scientific integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and coach team members on medical review best practices.
- Contribute to faster, compliant approval of promotional materials.
Educational Requirements for the Hybrid Medical Reviewer Job:
- Advanced healthcare or scientific degree such as:
- MD
- PharmD
- PhD
- MPH
- DDS/BDS
- Equivalent healthcare qualification
- 8–10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Extensive experience in US promotional review processes.
- Experience in Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR/PRC) review.
- Strong knowledge of FDA promotional regulations and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in medical and scientific review.
- Strong understanding of FDA promotional regulations.
