Job Description:

ICMR-NIHR, Bhubaneswar invites applications for engagement of the following Non-Institutional project staff under the project entitled “JANHIT” (previously known as DRISTI Bharat Tribal Health Observatory) on a purely temporary contractual basis at ICMR-NIHR, Bhubaneswar. This is a re-advertisement for the post.

Eligibility Criteria for ICMR-NIHR Recruitment:

• Professionals having proven competency and success in their area of specialization, with at least 6 years of Post qualification experience and should possess minimum MBBS or BDS or BVSc or equivalent degree in relevant subject.
• Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/field and from an Institution of repute. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
• Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/ Organizations are not eligible to apply.

Salary:

• Consolidated Emoluments: Rs.80,000.00
• The rates of emoluments/stipend shown in this advertisement are consolidated.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisting of candidates for interview shall be done on basis of educational qualification and experience. However, if necessary, written test and assignment may also be conducted before the interview.
• Only eligible shortlisted candidates shall be invited to appear before the Interview Board through virtual mode.
• Eligible candidates are invited to apply for a virtual interview scheduled on 29 October 2026 (Thursday).
• Only eligible shortlisted candidates will receive the interview time slot and online meeting link by email.
• Selection of Candidates will be based on the performance in the interview.

15. Benefits of Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim, Staff Quarters and other facilities applicable to the regular staff of ICMR etc. are not admissible to the project human resource positions.
16. ICMR-NIHR, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to cancel/modify the process at any time, at its discretion.
17. The decision of the Competent Authority will be final and binding.
