Key Responsibilities:
Consultant (Medical)
- Develop study protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure the implementation of clinical trial activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Train and mentor Trial Officers and Trial Assistants.
- Supervise monitoring and quality assurance activities.
- Conduct site monitoring visits and audits in the ICMR-NITVAR Recruitment.
- Maintain data quality and study integrity in the Jobs in Pune.
- Draft scientific manuscripts, project reports, and research publications.
- Review adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).
- Support overall clinical trial management and execution.
Project Research Scientist-I (Medical)
- Monitor the accuracy and completeness of clinical trial data.
- Coordinate project implementation across multiple trial sites.
- Develop training materials and protocol training modules.
- Organize Training-of-Trainers (ToT) programs.
- Coordinate site-level training activities in the ICMR-NITVAR Recruitment.
- Develop Study Specific Procedures (SSP) manuals.
- Assist Principal Investigators in trial coordination.
- Support study implementation and site management activities.
Educational Requirements for the ICMR-NITVAR Recruitment:
Consultant (Medical)

Junior Consultant
- MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree in a relevant subject.
- Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience.

Consultant
- MBBS or equivalent degree in a relevant subject.
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience.

Senior Consultant
- MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree in a relevant subject.
- Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience.

Alternatively Eligible
- Retired Government employees from Pay Level 10 and above.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Experience Consideration
- A PhD will be considered as 4 years of experience.
- An MD/MS or equivalent will be considered equivalent to 3 years of experience.
- MPH will not be considered as experience.
Project Research Scientist-I (Medical)
MBBS or BDS.
Preferred Qualifications:
Consultant (Medical)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research.
- Minimum three years of clinical trial experience.
- Experience in clinical research projects.
- Published scientific papers.
- Strong English writing and communication skills.
Project Research Scientist-I (Medical)
- Postgraduate degree, including Master of Public Health (MPH).
- Diploma in Clinical Research.
- Experience in clinical trials.
- Strong English writing and communication skills.
