Job Description
This Jagruti psychiatrist job is a full-time, on-site role based at Jagruti Rehabilitation Center in Delhi, India. The Psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health and addiction-related conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans. The role involves regular review of patient progress, participation in case discussions, and contribution to evidence-based treatment protocols. The Psychiatrist will also engage with families and caregivers to support psychoeducation, relapse prevention, and long-term recovery, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health and addiction-related conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Prescribing and monitoring medications, providing psychotherapy or counseling as appropriate, and coordinating multidisciplinary care with psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other medical professionals.

Regular review of patient progress, participation in case discussions, and contribution to evidence-based treatment protocols.

Engaging with families and caregivers to support psychoeducation, relapse prevention, and long-term recovery.

Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
Eligibility Criteria

Strong foundation in Medicine and Psychiatry, with the ability to integrate medical and psychiatric knowledge in clinical practice.

Demonstrated expertise in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health management across a range of disorders and levels of severity.

Experience or training in Adolescent Psychiatry and age-sensitive approaches to assessment and treatment.

Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB in Psychiatry or equivalent, and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.

Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to the Mental Healthcare Act and relevant clinical guidelines.

Experience in de-addiction, rehabilitation, or residential mental health settings is an advantage.

Comfort with structured documentation, electronic medical records, and continuous professional development.
