  • Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 22,000 per month (Rs. 20,000 + 10% HRA as sanctioned for Year I; no other allowances are payable).

Job Description:

The Project Nurse-II will assist with the community and field implementation of the drug take-back program, including data collection, study documentation, coordination with community stakeholders, recording and categorisation of medicine returns, IEC activities, field travel within the study area, and other duties assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Eligibility Criteria for the JIPMER Recruitment:

  • Essential: Three-year General Nursing & Midwife (GNM) Course from a recognised institution/board.
  • Fluency in Tamil and English and willingness to undertake community/field work.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in community-based work, research studies, public health, or field data collection.
  • Basic computer skills / MS-Word / Excel / PowerPoint / data-entry and research documentation skills.
  • Maximum Age Limit: 28 years (as on last date of receipt of applications).

Evaluation Criteria for the JIPMER Recruitment:

The selection process will include a written test followed by an interview. The written test will carry 80% weightage and the interview 20%. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their performance in the written test.
