Job Description:
Through this JIPMER Recruitment, selected candidates will support and execute ongoing and new programs of the Department of Health Research (DHR). They will provide leadership and managerial strength in the research and development projects related to Health Technology Assessment (HTA). Responsibilities include coordinating activities, maintaining effective working relationships with various stakeholders, and contributing to the drafting of official reports.
Key Responsibilities for JIPMER Recruitment:
- Support and execute ongoing and new programs of DHR.
- Provide leadership and managerial strength in R&D projects in HTA research.
- Coordinate activities of HTA and provide support to junior staff.
- Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at DHR, ICMR, and other organizations.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and meetings.
- Draft official reports and summaries of workshops and events.
- Address queries from states/applicants regarding proposals.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Department of Health Research.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Senior Health Economist:
- Age limit: 45 years
- Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MPH) after MBBS with 3 years of research experience or Doctorate (Ph.D.) in relevant subjects with 3 years of research experience.
- Project Scientist-III:
- Age limit: 45 years
- Qualification: MBBS/BVSc/BDS with 3 years’ experience or Post Graduate Degree in medical subjects or Ph.D. in relevant subjects with 3 years’ experience.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management.
- Research experience in relevant fields.
- Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in health economics/health technology assessment (desirable).
