Job Description:
The Junior Consultant – Fertility will support the clinical and operational aspects of fertility treatments, including IVF, IUI, and other assisted reproductive technologies. The role involves patient consultation, treatment planning under supervision, monitoring cycles, and ensuring high standards of patient care. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient consultations, including medical history review and basic fertility assessment, to determine the most suitable treatment options.
- Assist in planning and execution of fertility treatments such as IVF, IUI, ICSI, and ovulation induction, ensuring each procedure is tailored to meet patient needs.
- Monitor patients through ultrasound scans and hormone assessments to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Support procedures like oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and IUI under supervision, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to facilitate seamless communication and continuity of care.
Patient Care
- Provide counselling and guidance to patients regarding treatment options and protocols, helping them make informed decisions.
- Ensure compassionate and ethical patient interaction, fostering a supportive and understanding environment.
- Address patient queries and concerns throughout the treatment journey, providing reassurance and clarity.
Operational Responsibilities
- Coordinate with embryologists, nursing staff, and lab teams for smooth workflow, ensuring all processes are efficiently managed.

Qualifications & Experience for this Junior Consultant Job:
- MBBS with MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, providing a solid foundation in women’s health and reproductive medicine.
- Fellowship / Training in Reproductive Medicine (preferred) to ensure specialised knowledge in fertility treatments.
- 0–3 years of experience in fertility/IVF setup, offering practical insights and familiarity with clinical environments.
