About the job: We are looking for talented and passionate Pathologist Doctors to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time basis. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to:
- Diagnostic Evaluation: Utilize your expertise in pathology to accurately diagnose various medical conditions by examining tissue samples, blood, and other bodily fluids.
- Interpretation of Laboratory Tests: Analyze laboratory test results to identify abnormalities, diseases, and other health concerns, providing timely and precise interpretations to aid in patient management.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with clinicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, consult pathology, and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality control and quality assurance within the pathology department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of advancements in pathology, participate in research initiatives, and contribute to developing innovative diagnostic techniques and protocols.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Serve as a leader and mentor within the pathology department, offering guidance, support, and expertise to junior pathologists and staff members.
Qualifications for Consultant Pathologist
- MD Pathology or DNB Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Medical Council State Registration certificate is mandatory.
- Fellowship training in a pathology subspecialty (e.g., cytopathology, hematopathology) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a practicing pathologist with a strong track record of diagnostic excellence and clinical proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and professional ethics.
