I. Job Details
Job Title: Attending Consultant – Cardiology
Reporting Supervisor: Head – Cardiology
Designation: Senior Resident
Employee Category: Physician
Closing Date: 28 Feb 2025
II. Job Purpose
To provide & ensure direct or indirect accurate medical attention to all cases admitted under the Cardiac Dept. To perform/assist bedside procedures as indicated.
III. Key Responsibilities of Attending Consultant Cardiology Job
- To effectively interface with patients, nursing staff, and all Clinicians.
- To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge.
- To provide medical care as required by the patients admitted to critical care units.
- To be available for emergency calls.
- To supervise all nursing/ para-medical & non-medical staff to maintain high standards.
- To actively participate in CME and Journal clubs & conferences.
- Coordinate matters relating to the provision of infrastructure and maintenance support, selection of medical consumables, and equipment to be procured.
- To facilitate teaching and training programs for nurses, Technicians, and ICU staff.
- To ensure optimum utilization of resources by himself and subordinates.
- To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
IV. Key Performance Indicators
- Total support to CCU
- Nil/ very low incidence in hospital-borne infection in CCU
- To ethically distribute available beds to the most in need
- 100% statutory compliance
V. Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: MBBS + PG
- Experience: Relevant Experience
- Language Skills: English, Hindi
