Medical Advisor Job Description
This job refers to an employee within the EPD Medical organization who holds medical or scientific qualifications and provides scientific and medical support in a non-sales capacity. The role involves significant interaction with Abbott customers in the field and does not primarily focus on monitoring or managing clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities comply with local, global, and national laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, and company policies.
- Provide scientific and technical support to maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers.
- Design and deliver innovative, high-science activities for physicians and opinion leaders in collaboration with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.
- Assist in initiation, oversight, and follow-up of clinical studies and medical projects, including post-marketing studies, registries, epidemiological surveys, Phase IV studies, and IIS projects.
- Deliver unbiased, accurate, high-science presentations to physicians individually or in group settings.
- Support physician selection for research collaborations, lectures, congresses, symposia, and roundtable discussions.
