Job Description:
As Regional Medical Advisor I, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Novo Nordisk’s national Medical Affairs strategy at the regional level. This role involves acting as the scientific face of the organisation, engaging with diabetes specialists and key opinion leaders, and translating clinical insights into actionable strategies that enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the national Medical Affairs strategy in the region, translating strategic objectives into measurable local activities.
- Build and expand evidence-based relationships with key opinion leaders, diabetes specialists, and other stakeholders.
- Attend scientific meetings to capture clinical needs and share insights with cross-functional teams.
- Provide medical input on product positioning and clinical data interpretation to marketing and sales teams.
- Develop and deliver scientific training for healthcare professionals and internal colleagues.
- Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and Novo Nordisk policies.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Advisor Job:
- An MD or MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs.
- Strong understanding of diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
- Proven ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical judgement and analytical skills.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with high ethical standards.
Required Skills for the Medical Advisor Job:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interpret clinical data and treatment paradigms.
- Experience as a Medical Science Liaison or Regional Medical Advisor is useful but not essential.
- Direct experience with diabetes products is also beneficial.
