Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within a pharmaceutical company
- Previous relevant experience within KSA preferred
- Experience in specialty care and/or rare diseases
- Strong analytical skills for clinical research and scientific data
- Experience in real-world data generation and evidence-based initiatives
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Business fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
Medical Advisor Job Description
This Medical Advisor Job is a full-time, hybrid role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Medical Advisor will be part of the Medical Affairs team and will play a key role in shaping medical strategy, driving scientific exchange, and supporting the success of specialty care and rare disease portfolios. The position reports directly to the Medical Affairs Manager and requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute short- and long-term medical goals and tactics with emphasis on pharmacotherapeutic aspects and business priorities.
- Act as a healthcare manager responsible for healthcare compliance revision and approval of commercial communication
- Provide scientific leadership within cross-functional TA Brand teams and contribute to country medical brand strategies.
- Deliver expert medical and scientific support to internal teams and external healthcare professionals.
- Develop and execute medical plans aligned with brand strategy
- Analyze and interpret clinical research, scientific literature, and complex data sets
- Support real-world data generation initiatives and evidence-based medical strategies
- Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs)
- Collaborate with regulatory, market access, and commercial teams
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards
