Medical Advisor Jobs—Qualification:
- Education: MD Pharmacology
- Experience: 1–3 years in the pharmaceutical industry or research organization (as Medical Advisor or Sr. Medical Advisor).
- Training in medical writing, research design, clinical trial methodologies, and GCP preferred.
- Strong academic foundation with deep expertise in the relevant therapeutic area.
Medical Advisor Jobs—Role:
The medical advisor serves as the core scientific expert for the assigned therapeutic area and works closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Research. The role involves scientific enablement, medical strategy development, evidence generation, KOL engagement, training, and supporting new product evaluations and launches. The medical advisor also plays a critical role in shaping disease awareness, supporting clinical activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and scientific standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary scientific expert for the assigned therapeutic area within the franchise.
- Conceptualize and lead medical affairs initiatives such as education programs, CME materials, scientific workshops, and advisory board meetings.
- Prepare and assist with SEC presentations and regulatory defense materials.
- Develop scientific content, including product monographs, training manuals, and launch materials.
- Review and approve promotional and non-promotional content as per internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Build sustainable relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Plan and support real-world evidence (RWE) studies, reviews, meta-analyses, case series, and publications.
- Collaborate with clinical experts to publish high-quality scientific work.
