Medical Affairs Job Position Summary:
To execute and implement Clinical Strategies for MDS in the respective regions/territories in line with the market requirements and the country business plan, with the purpose of creating a clinically differentiated market position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Clinical Marketing Education Programs, Seminars, Promotional Events, and In-service Programs in the respective region in order to improve BD MDS value proposition amongst both clinical and economic buyers, by engaging KOLs towards MDS business outcome, and achieve regional business objectives.
- Clinical capability building (administering training, continuous evaluation) amongst regional MDS direct selling organizations and amongst channel partners in line with the country’s clinical objectives in order to enhance their ability to adequately differentiate the brand MDS in the market and thus achieve targeted business outcomes.
- Creating and implementing the regional calendar of engagements with the potential/existing customers in order to create strong brand awareness, and creating door openers at the relevant levels in this Medical Affairs Job in Kolkata
- Support / assist sales organization with product evaluations, clinical audits in hospitals, setting protocols and processes in hospitals, and ‘critical to business’ technical challenges (including but not limited to troubleshooting and product applications) in order to attain high levels of product penetration, query resolution, and trouble-free product application.
- Leading-edge key customer relationship management and creation of a regional KOL network in order to ensure usage of the full array of BD MDS products by leading client organizations, and using these customer relationships to drive conversions at BD Careers
- Coordinate on the timely completion of clinical /economic studies initiated in the region in order to ensure that the clinical/economic studies planned for the year are completed within the stipulated timelines.
- Conduct Induction Training Programs (Clinical & Product Training) to the Sales Organization, provide clinical Updates, annual/quarterly Product refreshers, and run Clinical Proficiency Tests on a need basis / from time to time.
Educational Requirements for this Job:
- MBBS: Mandatory
- MBA: Preferred
- Experience: 3–5 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
