Medical Affairs Job Description
The Medical Affairs professional will serve as the primary scientific face of the organization to thought leaders and physicians for a given therapy area. In this medical affairs role, responsibilities include identifying, mapping, and profiling thought leaders in the specified geography and therapy area on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage identified key thought leaders through medical affairs activities in alignment with the overall strategic plan.
- Execute strategic medical affairs plans, including medical education, product education, medical evidence generation, and advisory boards.
- Discuss scientific data pertaining to products with leading specialists and stakeholders.
- Support optimal patient outcomes through communication of data and insights.
- Represent the organization in various internal and external scientific platforms.
- Conduct disease trend analysis and contribute to the development of the annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plan.
- Process scientific information requests from physicians.
- Ensure all activities comply with Dr. Reddy’s Code of Business Ethics Policy.
Medical Affairs Job: Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: MBBS with a full-time post-graduate qualification of at least 2 years in any discipline of medicine or MBBS with MBA from a reputed institute.
- Minimum Work Experience: Fresh postgraduate or up to 2 years of experience in field-based Medical Affairs.
