Job Description:
This role involves providing scientific and technical expertise for local medical information and engaging with Key External Experts (KEEs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The Senior Area Medical Manager will also contribute to the business strategy for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to enhance scientific capabilities and career progression.
- Translate Medical Affairs strategy into clear field priorities and execution plans for the MSL team.
- Drive high-quality, non-promotional scientific engagement with External Experts and healthcare professionals.
- Set objectives and monitor KPIs to ensure strong field execution and impact.
- Identify capability gaps and implement training programs across scientific knowledge and engagement excellence.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key scientific experts.
- Lead the systematic capture and synthesis of field insights to inform medical strategy.
- Collaborate effectively with various functions while maintaining compliance boundaries.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Affairs Jobs:
- MBBS with a postgraduate qualification; preferred in Pharmacology or Public Health.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Gastroenterology or Hepatology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the local language.
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP principles and internal SOPs.
- Ability to present scientific topics in various settings.
