Job Description:
The Manager, Medical Communications and Content Solutions, will be responsible for creating and executing global medical content end-to-end within the vaccines therapeutic area. This includes developing various types of external-facing medical content, such as abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters, and multimedia resources. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional partners and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop all relevant medical affairs content, including abstracts, manuscripts, and multimedia resources.
- Research, organize, compile, interpret, and perform quality checks on various types of medical information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop medical content across assigned therapeutic areas in the Medical Communications Job at Pfizer Careers.
- Provide solutions to authors for assigned projects and collaborate with other teams to drive these solutions.
- Ensure accuracy review and data quality control of all medical content.
- Deliver all projects within expected timelines while adhering to quality and compliance requirements in the Medical Communications Job.
- Support the development of training materials for product priorities.
- Track the progress of all assigned projects and resolve issues with guidance from the Team Lead.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Communications Job:
- Advanced scientific doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing/developing medical content for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with authors and stakeholders.
- Excellent scientific writing skills with the ability to interpret and summarize complex data.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Required Skills for the Medical Communications Job:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently.
- Understanding of technology applications in medical content development.
