Job Description:
The Manager – Scientific Services will lead the development and delivery of high-quality scientific communications and Medical Affairs initiatives for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. The role requires a blend of scientific expertise, project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen to deliver impactful solutions and support the growth of Springer Health+’s Scientific Services business in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop evidence-based scientific content ensuring relevance, accuracy, and scientific rigour.
- Review scientific content for accuracy, quality, compliance, and alignment with client expectations.
- Develop scientific platforms, advisory board materials, slide decks, publications, and medical education assets.
- Conduct literature searches and scientific analyses utilising deep Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge in the Medical Communications Job in Mumbai.
- Partner with Medical Affairs teams to support strategic scientific objectives.
- Participate in client meetings and scientific discussions demonstrating strong scientific expertise at Springer Nature.
- Support identification and engagement of KOLs and external experts.
- Manage multiple projects ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Communications Job:
- Education: MBBS, MD, or related healthcare qualification. Additional qualifications in Medical Affairs, Medical Writing, Publications, or Management are advantageous.
- Experience: 8-10 years’ experience in Medical Communications, Medical Affairs, Scientific Services, or Healthcare Communications.
Required Skills for the Medical Communications Job:
- Strong understanding of clinical research, evidence evaluation, and publication practices.
- Familiarity with GPP2022, ICMJE, AMA style, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
- Experience in leading expert consensus panels and managing structured scientific consensus initiatives.
