Job Description:
The Consultant will support the Executive Director and team in preparing technical documents, presentations, and concept notes related to health systems interventions. The role involves providing technical assistance, conducting field visits, and ensuring high-quality documentation of findings. The Consultant will also liaise with various divisions within NHSRC and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to facilitate effective communication and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of technical documents and presentations.
- Provide technical inputs to reports and ensure timely submissions.
- Assist in reviewing research papers and project submissions.
- Conduct field visits to understand challenges and monitor progress.
- Document field review visits and provide constructive feedback.
- Liaise with NHSRC divisions and demonstrate leadership abilities.
- Produce high-quality technical reports and policy briefs.
- Mentor early career professionals in project management.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Consultant Job:
- Full-time regular bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) and full-time regular postgraduate qualifications (minimum 2 years) are required.
- MBBS with a full-time postgraduate degree in MD (Community Medicine/PSM) or MBBS/BDS with a full-time postgraduate degree in MPH and 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of the National Health Mission and current health policies.

Salary:
