Job Description:
The Medical Consultant will support the Executive Director and the team in preparing technical documents, providing technical inputs for reports, and ensuring timely responses to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The role involves field visits to states and districts to understand challenges and monitor progress, as well as liaising with various divisions within NHSRC and MoHFW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in the preparation of technical documents and presentations.
- Provide technical inputs to reports and ensure timely submissions.
- Respond to MoH&FW/Parliament Questions in coordination with NHSRC’s Divisions.
- Review research papers and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct field visits for monitoring and supervision.
- Document field review visits and provide constructive feedback.
- Liaise with all divisions within NHSRC and MoHFW.
- Undertake other assignments as directed by the Executive Director.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Consultant Job:
- MBBS with a full-time Postgraduate Degree in MD (Community Medicine/PSM) and 2 years of post-qualification experience; or
- MBBS/BDS with a full-time Postgraduate Degree in MPH and 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of the National Health Mission and current health policies.
