Essential Qualification:
- Professional having proven competency and success in the area of Public Health / Pediatrics / Child Health / Maternal and Newborn Health, with at least 12 years of post-qualification experience, and possessing minimum MBBS or BDS or equivalent degree.
- Retired Government employee with requisite qualification who was in regular Pay Level 10 and above and having at least 10 years of experience in Public Health / Pediatrics / Child Health / Maternal and Newborn Health.
Experience Required for the Medical Consultant Jobs:
- PhD = 4 years’ experience
- MD/MS or equivalent = 3 years’ experience
- MPH will not be considered as experience
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in maternal and newborn/child health research, implementation research, and community-based studies.
- Experience in developing guidelines, SOPs, and systematic reviews.
- Publications as first author or corresponding author in peer-reviewed journals.
- MD (Pediatrics or Community Medicine) preferred.
- Strong statistical skills preferred.
Scope of Work / Nature of Duties for the Medical Consultant Jobs:
- Provide scientific and technical support for implementation and monitoring of multi-state, multi-site projects.
- Support data management, analysis, interpretation, and preparation of technical reports and project documentation in this Government Job.
- Support field monitoring, stakeholder coordination, organization of review meetings, and overall support to the Program Officer.
- Identify implementation challenges and contribute to evidence generation for strengthening intervention strategies at sites.
- Perform other project-related tasks assigned by the Program Officer.
