Job Description:
As a Senior Medical Data Reviewer at ICON, the individual will provide expert medical oversight of clinical trial data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and patient safety. The role involves supporting complex programmes, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the development of robust medical review practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Medical Data Reviewer works closely with the Medical Lead and/or Clinical Research Scientist to coordinate the medical data review process, manage medical queries, and ensure comprehensive data across various studies.
- Conducts medical reviews of data according to the Medical Data Review Plan, ensuring patient data is complete and medically plausible, while addressing inconsistencies and missing events in the Non-Clinical Job.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Data Reviewer Jobs:
- More than 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research organization as a Medical Data Reviewer, Medical Monitor, or in similar roles.
- Basic knowledge in planning, executing, and reporting global clinical studies.
- Fundamental understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines, clinical trial design, and drug development processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A degree in a medical profession or life sciences (e.g., PhD, MBBS, BDS, MD) is required.
