Medical Job: Qualifications
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Licensure/Certification:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Texas Medical License, or eligibility to obtain one
Experience:
- Prior experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist role preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage acute inpatient care efficiently
Skills:
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
About the Role
The hospitalist will provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours, including admissions, consultations, and managing medical emergencies. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, timely communication with patients and families, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and support for residents and medical students.

- Manage inpatient admissions, consultations, and emergencies overnight
