Job Description:
The Factory Medical Officer Job involves leading the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees. The selected candidate will oversee occupational health surveillance, emergency medical care, industrial hygiene programs, vaccination initiatives, and regulatory compliance. This role is critical in maintaining a safe workplace while promoting preventive healthcare and employee wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Occupational Health Centre (OHC) operations.
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and fitness-for-duty medical examinations.
- Provide clinical care and emergency medical treatment for employees.
- Implement occupational health surveillance programs.
- Conduct workplace hazard identification and exposure assessments.
- Drive vaccination campaigns and preventive health initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and Piramal Global EHS standards.
- Prepare employee health reports and trend analyses.
- Promote employee wellness through awareness programs and health education.
- Supervise pharmacists, nurses, and Occupational Health Centre staff.
Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Officer Job:
- MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.
- Valid Medical Council registration.
- Experience in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine is desirable.
- Knowledge of industrial health regulations and workplace safety practices will be an added advantage.
