Sanjivani University is inviting applications for the position of Residential Medical Officer (RMO) for its residential campus in Kopargaon, Maharashtra. This Medical Officer Job involves delivering primary healthcare services, responding to medical emergencies, managing the University Health Centre, and promoting preventive healthcare among students, faculty, staff, and campus residents.
The selected candidate will also coordinate with hospitals, emergency services, hostel management, and university administration to ensure timely medical care and maintain a healthy campus environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Care & Clinical Services
- Provide primary medical consultation and treatment.
- Diagnose and manage common illnesses, injuries, and minor emergencies.
- Administer first aid and emergency stabilization.
- Prescribe medications within the scope of practice.
- Monitor patients admitted to the campus medical centre.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical medical standards.
Emergency Medical Response
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies on campus.
- Coordinate ambulance services and hospital referrals.
- Stabilize critically ill patients before transfer.
- Maintain emergency medicines and life-saving equipment.
- Participate in disaster management and emergency preparedness drills.
Student Health Management
- Conduct medical examinations during admissions.
- Monitor hostel students’ health.
- Manage infectious disease surveillance.
- Counsel students on nutrition, hygiene, stress management, and healthy lifestyles.
- Refer mental health cases to specialists when required.
Preventive Healthcare
- Organize health camps and vaccination drives.
- Conduct awareness sessions on:

Occupational Health
- Conduct annual employee health check-ups.

- Verify medicine stock and expiry dates.
- Coordinate procurement of medical supplies.
Documentation & Records
- Maintain electronic and physical patient records.
- Prepare daily and monthly health reports.
- Record OPD statistics.
- Maintain accident and incident registers.
Campus Coordination
- Coordinate with:
