Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical safety oversight for clinical research and pharmaceutical programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Support medical monitoring and pharmacovigilance activities.
- Provide consultation and expert medical advice on multiple projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams on safety-related matters.
- Lead safety evaluations and risk assessment activities in this Hybrid Medical Safety Director Job in Kolkata.

Educational Requirements for this Medical Safety Director Job:

- Additional postgraduate medical training will be considered advantageous.
- Experience in pharmaceutical medicine, clinical research, pharmacovigilance, or drug safety is desirable.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience after obtaining a medical degree.
- OR 3 years of clinical practice experience plus 2 years of experience as a pharmaceutical physician in any role.
- Minimum 5 years of Medical Safety or Medical Monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related healthcare industry.
- Experience in clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, drug safety surveillance, and risk management.
- Experience working with regulatory requirements, safety reporting, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience interacting with clients, healthcare professionals, and global stakeholders is preferred.
