Medical Science Jobs- Role:
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will serve as a trusted scientific expert and strategic partner to healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and internal stakeholders. Youโll support Boehringer Ingelheimโs medical and commercial initiatives by delivering credible, evidence-based insights, driving clinical excellence, and strengthening scientific relationships in your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute medical affairs strategy in East India aligned with global and regional objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external experts (EEs).
- Gather, analyze, and communicate scientific and medical insights from the field to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in local medico-marketing initiatives and contribute medical expertise to cross-functional projects.
- Support investigator-initiated studies (IIS), data generation, and evidence-based communication.
- Deliver accurate and balanced scientific presentations on Boehringer Ingelheim products and therapeutic areas.
- Provide medical input for regulatory submissions, labeling documents, and product defense activities.
- Ensure compliance with global and local medical standards, SOPs, and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Medical degree (MD, Pharmacology preferred) or advanced degree in Life Sciences.
- Experience: 0โ3 years in a similar MSL or medical affairs role; beginners with MD in Pharmacology encouraged to apply.
- Professionals without doctoral qualifications must have 10+ years of relevant field-based experience with strong scientific expertise.
- Solid understanding of diabetes therapy and related treatment landscape.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools.
- Ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment covering the East India territory.
