For the expansion of our Canadian Medical Affairs team, Argenx is looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Expert medical resource and Argenx ambassador
- Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise
- Identify and collaborate with medical experts
- Support Medical Affairs strategy
- Scientific/medical exchange and education, and insight generation
- Ensure informative scientific exchanges with stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality scientific education
- Implement Medical Affairs tactics
- Clinical trial collaboration and support
- Identify potential investigators and centers
- Provide feedback to stakeholders
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with all Argenx functions
- Support patient-focused operations
Skills and Competencies:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to achieve results independently
- Strong influencing skills and understanding of complex disease areas
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven track record of building collaborations
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Medical, pharmaceutical or high-level scientific degree: MD, PharmD, PhD preferred
- 3+ years of experience as an MSL or similar role within the biopharmaceutical industry
- Clinical experience in neurology, immunology and/or rare diseases is an advantage
- Robust knowledge of local regulations and practices related to industry interactions with Canadian healthcare professionals
- Bilingual in both French & English
- Reside in Ontario or Quebec, with approximately 50% travel
