Medical Science Liaison Job Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD preferred – Pharmacology)
- 0–3 years of experience in Medical affairs/healthcare industry
- Fresh MD Pharmacology graduates may apply
- Strong scientific expertise in the Diabetes therapy area
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic proficiency in MS Office
About the Role
The role focuses on executing medical affairs strategy within the assigned territory by engaging healthcare professionals, supporting regulatory and medical projects, and ensuring high-quality, non-promotional scientific communication. The position works closely with internal teams and external experts to strengthen BI’s medical credibility and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the medical affairs strategy in the assigned zone
- Engage healthcare professionals to understand treatment practices and therapeutic trends
- Gather, analyze, and share scientific insights with internal and external stakeholders
- Execute key medical projects, including IIS studies
- Support the implementation of the local medico-marketing strategy
- Identify and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and external experts
- Provide medical expertise for product registrations and new indications
- Support regulatory defense of marketed products when required
- Review and develop labeling and medical documentation per SOPs
- Liaise with regulatory affairs teams for expert access and scientific support
