Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field (MBBS, MD) preferred with 2–4 years of experience.
  • Experience or knowledge of Hematology or Hemophilia
  • Previous experience as a Scientific Advisor (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of coagulopathies and bleeding disorders (desirable).
  • Prior interaction with opinion leaders in Hematology (desirable).
  • Strong communication, strategic planning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.

Job Description

The Scientific Advisor (MSL) is a dynamic career option that combines technical and scientific requirements, planning, and communication with internal and external partners. These healthcare professionals possess solid, in-depth, and up-to-date scientific knowledge of products, diseases, clinical practice, and clinical studies within a given therapeutic area. This Medical Science Liaison Job involves leading reliable and balanced scientific discussions with Key Opinion Leaders and other healthcare professionals while disseminating recent scientific evidence and developing structured relationships based on scientific foundations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute field activities related to strictly scientific information on the therapeutic area of responsibility (Rare Blood Diseases with a focus on Hemophilia).
  • Provide healthcare professionals with information on clinical studies and discuss treatment guidelines relevant to rare blood disorders.
  • Plan, organize, and execute meetings and scientific lectures with healthcare professionals across India
  • Relate scientific activities and field insights to Sanofi’s strategic objectives.
  • Support healthcare professionals with diagnostic and management challenges in hemophilia.
  • Collaborate in speaker training initiatives when required.
  • Gather treatment insights and feedback from healthcare professionals and share them with internal Sanofi teams.
  • Participate in periodic meetings with brand teams to align medical field activities.
  • Maintain compliance with Ethics and Integrity principles, Sanofi policies, and pharmaceutical industry codes.
  • Establish long-term peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support diagnostic coordination and supply chain processes before therapy initiation.
  • Record and report insights using approved mechanisms and tools.
  • Support evidence-generation activities through data acquisition and identification of clinical research opportunities.
