Job Description:
Bayer is seeking a Digital Medical Scientific Liaison to serve as a scientific expert connecting the company with healthcare professionals, thought leaders, and academic institutions through digital engagement. The role focuses on virtual scientific interactions, medical education, evidence dissemination, and gathering valuable insights that support strategic decision-making across medical affairs and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build scientific relationships with thought leaders and healthcare professionals through virtual engagement.
- Expand Bayer’s medical reach across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities using digital platforms.
- Communicate scientific information related to Bayer products in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Key Account Managers, Sales Managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Identify scientific and educational needs of healthcare professionals.
- Develop innovative scientific content for digital engagement channels.
- Facilitate advisory boards, scientific meetings, webinars, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
- Support interventional clinical trials, feasibility assessments, and study initiation activities.
- Handle and document medical information queries according to company procedures.
- Prepare timely reports of healthcare professional interactions and performance activities.
Educational Qualification for this Medical Science Liaison Job:
Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine
- MD
- MDS
Experience Required:
- 2–3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison preferred.
- Experience in clinical research, drug information, or medical affairs.
- Exposure to Cardiovascular and Chronic Kidney Disease therapeutic areas is desirable.
- Experience supporting clinical trials and medical information activities is an advantage.
