Job Description:

The Medical Science Liaison Job at Ferring Pharmaceuticals focuses on scientific engagement within the field of Uro-Oncology. The selected candidate will build strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and key opinion leaders while providing evidence-based scientific support. The role also involves supporting investigator-initiated studies, Phase IV research, medical education programs, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen patient care and scientific innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Deliver balanced, evidence-based medical information on bladder cancer therapies.
  • Support Phase IV clinical studies and Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs).
  • Collaborate with investigators throughout clinical research activities.
  • Report and document adverse events according to regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest scientific developments in Uro-Oncology.
  • Deliver medical education sessions and formulary presentations.
  • Participate in advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific conferences.
  • Support medical education grant requests and research collaborations.

Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Science Liaison Job:

  • Doctorate degree (D.V.M., M.D.) in biological sciences.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous MSL experience.
  • Experience in Uro-Oncology, Urology, or Oncology as a practising MSL.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of FDA and OIG requirements, clinical trial design, and statistics.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse colleagues and stakeholders.
  • High level of emotional intelligence to engage with senior experts.
