Job Description:
MSD is hiring a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Oncology) to strengthen its Medical Affairs team. This Medical Science Liaison job opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in oncology, medical affairs, and scientific engagement. The selected candidate will work closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), support medical strategy execution, facilitate scientific exchange, and contribute to clinical development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Scientific Exchange & KOL Engagement
- Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
- Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific information on oncology products and disease areas.
- Organise and support advisory boards, CMEs, and scientific roundtable discussions.
Medical Strategy & Insight Generation
- Execute country-level medical affairs strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Gather field insights to support clinical development and lifecycle management.
- Contribute to real-world evidence generation.
Launch & Education Support
- Provide scientific support for new oncology product launches.
- Train internal sales and marketing teams on disease states and product science.
- Develop educational content for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
- Support strategic planning and execution of oncology initiatives.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ICH-GCP guidelines, and local regulations.
- Report adverse events and product complaints accurately and promptly.
Educational Requirements for this Medical Science Liaison Job:
Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
- MBBS
- MD
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs or as a Medical Science Liaison in Oncology.
- Strong knowledge of oncology, haematology, and biomarkers.
- Experience interpreting and presenting clinical trial data.
