As a Medical Science Liaison, youโll have a vital role in providing clinical and scientific education to help improve patient care. You will be essential in developing and maintaining positive connections with clinical advisors, laboratorians, clinicians, professional organizations, and patient advocacy groups. In this field-based position, you will collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams, to provide education and drive scientific partnerships.
A day in the Life
- Deliver presentations (virtual and in-person) to key opinion leaders, C-suite executives, clinical investigators, physicians, clinical laboratory personnel, and other key customers.
- Identify a KOL strategy and establish relationships to support scientific, commercial, and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support key customers scientifically through co-marketing opportunities, scientific partnerships, and addressing product related issues.
- Represent The Binding Site at regional and national trade shows and scientific conferences, communicating scientific data and engaging in customer meetings.
- Act as an internal consultant, supporting our internal teams with on-the-ground customer feedback and scientific expertise.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Binding Site products in the context of analytic/clinical performance, manufacture, and QA release, and be able to answer customer concerns as needed.
Keys to Success
- Education: Advanced clinical/science degree (e.g., PhD, MD, NP/PA) required, with experience with immunology or hematology/oncology highly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience working in a clinic, hospital, or laboratory environment. A patient-centric approach helps you understand and respond to customer needs.
- Skills: Outstanding customer focus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborative, team-oriented approach to working with sales, marketing, and scientific/medical affairs colleagues.
- Additional Skills: Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization skills. Travel required (25-75%), proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $95,900.00โ$143,825.00.
