Job Description:
As the Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will function as a regional medical and scientific resource responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with national and regional External Experts (EEs) in support of key scientific medical objectives. You will engage in fair-balanced scientific exchange with EEs, provide education of healthcare providers on Teva products and disease states of interest, and provide clinical research support in Movement Disorders and Psychiatry at Teva. You will support the following territory: Mid-Atlantic (MD, DE, Washington, DC metro).
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and manage collaborative relationships with External Experts and other healthcare professionals
- Provide relevant medical and scientific support for healthcare professionals and internal cross-functional partners
- Represent Teva at medical meetings and programs
- Assist in identifying potential investigators and sites for company sponsored clinical trials
- Complete accurate and timely administrative reports and projects
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Terminal Scientific Doctoral Degree
- Minimum 1 year of relevant therapeutic and/or clinical experience in neuropsychiatric fields
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with direct patient care in severe mental illness
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
Salary:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $145,000 – $165,000 annually. The level of the role will be commensurate with years of experience and performance criteria.
