Job Description:

The Regional Medical Specialist will serve as a crucial link between Orchid Pharma and healthcare professionals. This role focuses on educating and empowering customers to optimise patient outcomes and realise the full value of the company’s products. The specialist will collaborate with various teams to ensure effective utilisation of pharmaceutical solutions and provide consultative support for clinical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify target accounts and priorities within the region, assisting the sales team in accessing key decision-makers.
  • Regular coordination with the Medical Head, RM, CBM, and Sales Team.
  • Participation in internal training and reporting activities.
  • Monthly reporting to the Medical Head.
  • Collaborate with KOLs, external stakeholders, bodies and associations, and CXOs of organisations to develop networks and rapport.
  • Conduct in-service training sessions, webinars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and proficiency for both internal and external customers.
  • Engagement with clinicians, microbiologists, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
  • Representation during scientific discussions and AMSP rollout.

Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Specialist Job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the healthcare field – MBBS Doctors.
  • Clinical experience in healthcare settings, such as a hospital or healthcare facility.

Required Skills for the Medical Specialist Job:

  • Strong clinical and scientific understanding (especially in antimicrobials).
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret microbiology data and reports.
  • Self-motivated with strong time and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital learning platforms.
  • Willingness to travel and work with healthcare institutions at all levels.
