Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret PET-CT, SPECT, and other nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
- Supervise radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.
- Ensure radiation safety and compliance with quality standards.
- Optimize imaging protocols for accurate diagnosis.
- Provide timely and detailed reports to referring physicians.
- Collaborate with oncology, cardiology, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Participate in treatment planning and clinical case discussions.
- Support protocol development and clinical audit initiatives.
- Mentor junior doctors, technologists, and healthcare staff.
- Promote best practices in nuclear medicine services.
Education Required for the Medicine Consultant Job:
Candidates should possess:
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- MD/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
- Valid Medical Council registration.
