Job Description:
The Emergency Medicine Physician job at ACTREC involves evaluating and stabilising critically ill patients by executing emergency management procedures, including intubation, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). The physician will manage patients under observation in the Emergency Department (ED) and coordinate with the treating Oncology Unit for further management. Maintaining accurate patient records in both paper and electronic medical records (EMR) is essential, along with effective communication about patient conditions with families and handling medicolegal cases as per protocol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee patient conditions in the ED from arrival until transfer or discharge.
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators for the Emergency Department as per NABH guidelines.
- Provide guidance and training to Casualty Medical Officers and staff for efficient ER management.
- Ensure thorough documentation and communication regarding patient prognosis.
- Handle medicolegal cases according to established protocols.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency protocols.
- Engage in continuous medical education and training.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid MCI/MMC/NMC registration.
- Minimum one year of Emergency Department experience in a tertiary care or multispecialty hospital.
- Maximum age: 45 years.
