Job Details:
- Position: Consultant – ED Secretariat
- Location: New Delhi
- Contract Duration: Initial contract until 31 March 2028 (with possible extension)
- Salary: Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/- (commensurate with qualification and experience)
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application (age relaxation of up to 5 years may be granted to deserving candidates)
Job Description:
The Consultant will report to the Executive Director (ED) and will be responsible for supporting the ED Secretariat in various technical tasks. This includes preparing technical documents, providing inputs for reports, and ensuring timely responses to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The role also involves field visits for monitoring and understanding challenges in healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Director in preparing technical documents and presentations.
- Provide technical inputs for reports submitted to the ED Secretariat.
- Ensure timely responses to MoH&FW/Parliament Questions.
- Assist in reviewing research papers and concept notes.
- Conduct field visits to states and districts for monitoring and supervision.
- Produce high-quality documents, including technical reports and policy briefs.
- Demonstrate project management capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Lead the drafting of technical documents and concept notes.
Eligibility Criteria for the NHSRC Recruitment:
- MBBS with a full-time Postgraduate Degree in MD (Community Medicine/PSM) and 1 year of post-qualification experience; or
- MBBS/BDS with a full-time Postgraduate Degree in MPH and 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of the National Health Mission and current health policies.
